There’s still me, Thorsten—but someone’s got to test every rattle and stack every block before it goes out the door.

I started HoneyBub, inspired by my own experience as a parent and fueled by the joyful chaos of raising two little ones. Based in a small town in Germany, I set out to create a toy shop that wasn’t just about cute colours and catchy jingles, but about toys that truly do something—whether that’s sparking creativity, teaching patience, or simply bringing laughter to a rainy afternoon.

Before HoneyBub, I worked in international retail, so I knew how to find well-made, meaningful products that actually last. Now, I use that knowledge to source fun, educational, and safe toys from around the world—and bring them directly to families in the United Kingdom.

Every toy in our shop has been handled, tested, or at the very least stepped on (accidentally!) by my own children. I only stock items that I’d give to my own family—because, let’s face it, kids can be the most honest critics.

At HoneyBub, we care deeply about more than just toys. We care about where things come from, how they’re made, and who makes them. We build long-term relationships with small makers and trusted manufacturers, making sure supply chains are solid and materials are safe—because little hands deserve the best start.

We believe learning should be playful, and play should be meaningful. That’s why HoneyBub exists—not just as a shop, but as a home for families looking to make childhood a little more imaginative and a lot more fun.
